It’s been 19 long years since the Northeast Oklahoma BMW Club hosted a motorcycle rally. But this June 7-9, 2013 we’ll raise the flag once more on the Indian Nations Rally.
Our rally headquarters will be the historic WPA lodge overlooking Greenleaf State Park near Braggs, Oklahoma. The site offers on-site kitchen facilities, showers, plenty of room for camping and a ballroom (!!!) in the lodge.
For those less inclined to sleep in a tent there are a limited number of bunkhouse accommodations near the lodge- as well as cabins and RV slots at adjacent Greenleaf State Park. For information contact the park office at 918.487.5196.
Plans call for a 50/50 raffle, awesome door prizes, a GS ride to the nearby Gruber Off-Road Riding Area, self-guided tours of the region’s twisties and a list of suggested historic sites attendees may want to visit. This will be a great rally for families to enjoy. There are a number of historical attractions in the area– Fort Gibson, USS Batfish, Cherokee Heritage Center, Camp Gruber and many more. And the park itself is consistently one of the highest rated in our state.
We’re still working out the details but this should be a fun event. So mark your calendars now and watch for more details and a registration form in the very near future!
